HOPES Inc COVID-19 Update (July 2021)

We would like to take the opportunity to provide an update on the measures we are taking to protect residents, clients and staff here at HOPES.

We will continue to monitor Covid-19 information, updates and restrictions and change our work practises, cooperative groups and  services accordingly.

In response to the ongoing concerns and to follow the advice of state and federal agencies, we continue to modify our service operation:

• Holding groups and activities only where safe to do so and where social distancing can be maintained
• Providing updated information to residents as it comes to hand
• Practising and modelling social distancing measures
• Asking visitors to the community house to utilise hand sanitisation practises and fill in the log book
• Liaising with support providers and to ensure we are adequately supporting residents
• Reducing non essential visitation of outside persons to residents’ houses
• Increasing our cleaning regime for the community house
  

We are continuing to review the situation, receive updates and respond as required to work together to stay safe and support each other at this time.
